BIOGRAPHY

James conducted his studies at Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with concentrations in Molecular and Cellular Bioengineering as well as Interfaces and Nanotechnology. There he served as president of the university chapters of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Society for Biological Engineering. He conducted research in self-assembling chemistries, specifically DNA suprastructures and peptidic nanotubes, within the Institute for NanoBiotechnology. At Northeastern University, James is focusing on implementing synthetic biology as a new approach in oncologic interventions. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and writing.
